Tabula Rosa
Tabula rosa or tabula rasa suggests that John Locke's "boş levha" is a suggestion. According to Hume, an empiricist, there is no innate idea in our minds. Hume, however, opposes causality. The temporal and spatial relations we establish between things are related to our experiential habits, not their particularities. The relations between phenomena can not know with our own methods, we only refer to them. Nature does not rule with rules, it does not possess formulations. Humans establish systems, formulas, priority-after-relationships to perceive nature or phenomena.
