Aşk-ı Memnu is a Turkish romantic drama series which was broadcasted on Kanal D from September 4, 2008 to June 24, 2010 and lasted for two seasons. The series, as the final episode, is the highest-rated series in Turkish history.The series created by Kerem Çatay is about the forbidden love and life around two people living in the same house in Istanbul. The series is adapted from the same name novel by Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil. Aşk-ı Memnu is one of the most popular and most watched drama series of 2008.
The series focuses on forbidden love of Bihter Yöreoğlu, who married Adnan Bey after her father's death, and his partner's spiritual nephew Behlül. Bihter and fun-loving Behlül, who is still studying in college, becomes a secret relationship from Adnan Bey and other people living at home.

Synopsis of Aşk-ı Memnu (Forbidden Love)
The subject of the series is adapted from the novel by Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil's Ask-i Memnu. After being killed by two children named Nihal and Bülent after the death of Pearl, Adnan Bey, one of the wealthiest of Istanbul's richest men, was married to Bihter, a very young girl by her second marriage, and Bihter herself became a spiritual nephew Behlül's deception.Aşk-ı Memnu (Forbidden Love); Firdevs Hanım is a family called Melih Bey team. Nihal gradually starts to hate Bihter. Because Nihal ?? ın loving servants and servants are leaving the house and according to him Bihter caused it.
