Uğur Polat

He is a cinema actor, theater and series who has been involved in many important productions of Turkish Cinema like Mavi Gözlü Dev, Cazibe Hanım’ın Gündüz Düşleri and Devrim Arabaları. Ugur Polat, who is a theater-based actor, worked for many years at the Ankara Art Theater and the Istanbul State Theater and took part in many productions including Kuva-i Milliye and Hamlet.

Uğur Polat born on  January 1, 1961 in Istanbul. Polat, who met in the young age with the theater, attended the Ankara Art Theater in 1978 and in 1981 he was enrolled at the State University Conservatory Theater Department of Istanbul University.

He worked in Adana State Theater in 1985 and Istanbul State Theater in 1987. He is also a voice actor. Eskişehir has been a lecturer in the Theater Department at Anadolu University for 3 years.

Polat, who has been acting in the State Theater for 16 years, took part in nearly 30 different theater works during this period and earned the İsmet Küntay Theater Award. Ugur Polat's plays included Hamlet, Kuva-i Milliye, Cansurcu and Skull.

Polat, who also took part in cinema world with Sis, who entered the vision in 1988, took part in the films of Cahide in 1989 and All Kapilar Kapalıdı in 1990; This film brought him the Hopeful Male Actor Award at the Ankara Film Festival in 1990.
