  1. I need a different ending. I did not like that Yusuf was killed by cuneyt. I liked that Havva was killed, but by killing Yusuf, is like what Havva did was forgotten.

    3. They die in the very last episode! I watched it on YouTube. It will leave you angry and sad. Hamiet dies, bade goes to jail, havva dies it's all bullshit

  4. justice was NOT served as Hamiyet and Bade did not get punished. the suffering of Yusuf and Havva is unprecedented with no retribution in the end. SICK Writing. I love Yusuf and Havva. suffered lots did also wrong things but near as damaging as Bade who caused Yusuf's death

    1. I totally agree with you I’m very disappointed in the ending it’s just a waste of time spending so many hour watching the Turkish movies and most time getting a sad ending. This is my fourth Turkish love drama that ended this way. I’m not sure if I can take anymore disappointment from these movies. They kill off the main characters! What are they thinking! It must be a trend for their writers. Havva and Yusuf should have gotten their happy ending after going through so must ups and downs.... no happy!!

    2. Agree 100%. But i am very annoyed that I cant watch the rest of it with English subtitles. I cant watch the rrst of the series after the wedding scene where jusuf gets shot. There are literally hundreds of complaints on line with fans desperately looking to find the test of the show after the fatal wedding scene with ENGLISH subtitles. I. Was so desperate to find out what happened that I used a turkish dictionary and pieced as much as I could by also using some on line synopsis on english of the ending. Truth is that Havva does NOT die in the car accident and nor does jusuf die from gun shots at the bogus wedding with bade. From what I could gather, havva's death was staged...( yes, the car accident was real...but she survives.I couldnt exactly fugure out why. But they used some other corpse in lieu of Havva'swhile they hid Havva...and Yusuf survives missing Havva until he sees her and its seems like a ghost....so...jusuf and havva continue their love affair in secret as everyone believes havva to be dead....and the story rambles as bade figures out the secret and all hell breaks loose...Bade literally goes more nutso/ insane than her mom...and starts an affair with mehmet and conceives Mehmet's baby but oretends it's Jusuf so hamilyet is iver the moon to finally have a blood grand child....story gets convulluded...as I had difficulty piecing it together as far as this....but Yilmaz has an illigitimate son who pops up afyer 35 years...and naturally hamilyet resents yilmaz's son...but somehow the illigimate son feels havvas pain to get jusuf back...so they hatch a plan to stage a pretend marriage...where....I think...jusuf is supposed to cause a rulus at the marriage ceremony by saying he has objections to the marriage cuz they( havva and havva) are madly in love. The plot thickens when bace realizes that havva is very much ALIVE and has been with jusuf...so Bade sets the church on fire where havva and yilmaz's illigitimate son and havva are staging this wedding that is supposed to get interrupted by jusuf....bade knows that whether havva is married ir not, that havva and jusuf are still madly in love...so burning the church and making sure that all the doors to the church are locked will insure the death of havva her pretend husband, and ell on attendance...what evil insane Bade does NOT know is that Jusuf was in that church to object to Havvas pretend wedding...to wisk havva away and proclaim their love publically ! So...jusuf hets severely burned and....I believe he dies from the burns...and never knew that Havva was carrying jusuf's child ! Hamilyet figures out that bade's child is NOT jusuf's( its mehmets)and when hamiyet realizes that havva is carrying jusufs baby...happy day❗❗ Hamiyet is firced to eat crow...begging fir firgiveness from havva..i tbo k havva goes to prison for the church arson...and carries out her pregnancy in prison for bafe's crime...the rest if the story gets really convulluded and i stopped after yusuf dies...and havvas pregnant...Too exausting to read bidy language with a dictionary and a bit of on line synopsis...if anyone knows the rest, pls share...

    4. Found missing series 1 episodes on Youtube....Bolum 44-55. No subtitles, but thanks to above post could piece together.
Havvas father was paid by Jusefs mother to plot the fake death. This was supposed to get Harva out of jusefs life so that he could be happy with Bada. Yes Netflix - not good enough to miss final episodes, especially we have sat through a marathon 111 episodes. Found a Turkish site on web that will stream season 2 and 3 (along with other shows) looks brilliant but costs at least 99 euros. English subtitles though and offers 2 free episodes for you to checknout, going to research this site further -turktv.com.
For lovers of Turkish tv and when Netflix dump whole seasons it may be worth the money. Hope this helps??

    5. Ps.. one plus Tobraks gorgeous husband Cinar reappears. Although she seems very cold toward him, cannot understand that as he seems like the best character in the show!!!! I hope to see more of him in the coming series as this would be an interesting storyline.....Toprak and Cinar.....who disappeared off the face of the earth after their wedding????

    6. Thanks for the synopsis of the 2nd season. What's with these Turkish series? I don't see Havva as a conniving person at all - she's a genuine person who's loyalty to her mother and sister is undeniable. In fact, when she sees that Toprak, her sister , is in love with Yuossef, she runs away in despair facing the ravages of the weather, and is left alomost dead. Why was nothing made of that to prove her love for Youssef, but her loyalty to Toprak?
That stupid conniving idiot of a father was to blame for her ending up where she did.
Hamiyet is a complete cow, and deserves to suffer.
Youssef can also be rather spineless at times, bowing to his mother's tantrums and duplicity.
Don't think I want to watch the second series after this.
Did enjoy the setting of Cappadoccia very much - great plus for me.

    1. Havva and Sultan had criminal intents. They caused so much pain and destruction. Havva's father was a sleeze. Bade could have been good for Yusuf. Heartbreaking movie. After watching Havva sob for most of the movie, seeing Yusuf die was too much sorrow to bear. I agree with the person who said, there should be a different ending.

    3. Thank you, Rosemary! I’m glad I couldn’t find season 2 and 3 with English subtitles! I hate the ones that have bad endings after over 100 episodes in the first season! But, stick with them, there are just as many happy endings as the bad ones. I’d say which ones they were...but then I’d be giving away that suspenseful happy ending we all love! Netflix stopped the series before the end. He was shot in the stomach.

  15. The end so disappointing... The main character's acting was incredibly good, that, as the viewer you could feel the intense love between them. All the scheming, all the ups and downs of love and then there is no forgivness... A very harsh verdict "death"... So sad after watching so many hours... you are left with is disappointment...

  16. The storyline is ridiculous for Sultan. She was beyond annoying. Her motives for being a total fraud and liar is never explained. What was her real complaint and why did she feel entitled to her employer’s money. Havva is an opportunist and consummate liar with no conscience. She cheats her way thru life with the excuse she did it for love and literally no accountability for her actions. Same goes for her greedy father. It seems the wretched get off Scott free. The so called “smart” people are very, very gullible to the point of being stupid! The Matriarch relies on Sultan for advice and is duped by her over and over. Her husband clearly had an affair with Havva’s mother but she doesn’t know it. I skipped over a lot of scenes between the housekeeper and Havva because they were repetitive and boring. Haava’s sister was portrayed in a way that made her pathetic rather than honest and pure. Trying to pass her as thoughtful and wise was laughable. She was easily manipulated by everyone. Ending of season ridiculous and disappointing. Plus story lines are mentioned and not completed such as the vineyard soil poisoning. Crazy Remzi as a real estate agent with no education or experience truly crazy. His character had no redeeming qualities.

    4. To Sac -
Sultan's motives - her real complaint and why did she feel entitled to her employer’s money. Midway through season one Yilmaz made a few comments regarding how Sultan's husband saved his life and possibly the business too, he died in the process. Not sure if they were business partners or not. Later in the series when Sultan is worried if she is going to be fired, she is thinking out loud and states something like "the life that was robbed from me."

Thank you everyone for your remarks and sharing of season 2 & 3. I share your feelings regarding Netflix and the poor script writing.

I do recommend Black Money series, where the actress portraying Hamilyet, is the Aunt. Lots of twist and turns with unexpected "didn't see that coming." Not to make a spoiler alert, the series is a bit long, justice is served and you will enjoy the ending.

    5. Sucker as I am, I am ashamed to admit I watched all 164 episodes of Black Money and sorry no, did not like the ending -- the poor hero(can't even remember his name now) -- giving up his profession and becoming an owner of a bookshop with his wife - can't remember her name either -- very disappointing but at least they got married, in that sense a good ending, finally after watching so many Turkish series with sad endings -- for no reason!!!!

  17. Hello,
I am watching another Turkish movie Love is in the Air.
I have watched Winter Sun - that was good the Twin brothers
OMG, OMG he was sooooooo handsome. I really enjoyed that.

I thought Intersection was good also. I LOVED Naz and RICH GUY
he was very Handsome and Naz was pretty.
The little boy Kaan was adorable - DID YOU JUST LOVE THE
FRKING GLASS HOUSE HE LIVED IN - OMG OMG
THAT HOUSE IS ACTUALLY IN TURKEY SOME WHERE.
    BEAUTIFUL HOUSE

BUT - after 20-30 episodes of READING subtitles - I just got tired of it. Watching a movie with subtitles takes MORE EFFORT
than watching English movies. DON'T YOU AGREE.??

However, it keeps your BRAIN sharp by READING....thats good

Ms. Havva is a TRIP - why can't she just LOVE Yusef and STOP trying to scheme and do under handed stuff with the crazzzzy father.
lol lol i enjoyed all these movies.

  20. Series much too long. Havva makes me ill with the constant conniving, her father Remzi is beyond annoying, his voice would cut glass, Sultan should have been fired long ago. I’m stopping watching as it goes nowhere. But Yusuf is so handsome to look at and I love the sister Minenver. Yusufs Dad is great also. May pick up and watch later. Missing Toprak!

  23. Shame on Netflix for doing this to us. I watched seasons 2 & 3 on you-tube and although no English subtitles found the story and acting excellent, piecing the story together was not that hard. Heart breaking ending when Yusuf dies in the church fire that was set by Bade. Havva is blamed and treated so badly by the entire family and even her crazy mother. The scenes when Havva is in prison pregnant with Yusuf's child will make you cry, she even stoops so low as to ask Mehmet for help. Mehmet arranged some of his thug friends to frame Havva so that he could save Bade from her crime. As everyone says, Sultan and the mother are constantly conniving, and Bade is right in the middle of it. Havva truly loves Yusuf and he her. Yusuf is incredibly stubborn which is what leads at times to Havva's desperation. Don't forget, Havva tried to leave and go to Istanbul, and Yusuf's love brought her back. Havva endures tremendous pain, being hidden away at the farm and being shot by Bade. Yusuf's mom who is an amazing actress is every bit as bad as Sultan, and Remiki and his behavior is really hard to tolerate. I sure hope that Netflix will never do this again. The Turkish dramas are very well written, with good acting, and the scenery is captivating.

  24. Oh god - I’m only on the 23rd episode - and by now am kinda done with Havva - evil seductress. I wanted her to find love, but altering the legal genetic record Josef is waiting for - is beyond the pale! Her behaviour approaches pathological.

The synopses above were helpful. I’ll prepare for being disappointed. Yes( Netflix keeps us hanging. The series is addictive, like ‘Irit and Esis’ (another long, addictive and heart-breaking Turkish series).

Overall great actors in “Love is in the Air” - (bad title / translation?!?) - great exploration of good and evil stereotypes - like a Turkish fairy tale with witches and princes, rich and poor, evil sisters and mothers, etc. etc. Fantastical! Some, Idyllic, gorgeous scenery / settings and filming / beyond the boring repetitive sitcom elements.

So far, Havva is a complex character - loving sister, self-serving beautiful seductress / but wicked and deceitful. (Josuf’s mother too!) Sultan and father of the two sisters are scary / lacking any moral fibre and classic, comedic villains. It’s no wonder their offspring are so messed up. 1. The dumb spineless momma’s boy. and 2.Toprak’s extraterrestrial otherworldly innocent. These characters are all deeply stereotypical and cannot be understood at face value. Finally, Josuf is an unbelievably perfect prince of a man - except he rarely shows any interest in the baby - which turns out not to be his.

I’m gonna try to take a break from this series🤨

  26. Yes agree they should have dumped series 3, watching it with no sub titles but get the gist. Ok so we lost Jusef and Havva who were replaced by Ali (what relationship is he does anyone know? He just appeared out of nowhere and took Jusefs place!! Havva was replaced by Sevas and Bade replaced by Linda.....seriously!!! Bade who once prounced around climbing step ladders in six inch heels and mini's now has become pathetic crying baby, baby nie baby!! She should have gone to Istanbul.

Why isn't she in prison for arson and the murder of. jusef? Poor Havva whether you liked her or not did not deserve to take the wrap, nor die.

How could Turkish justice not see that she had a church full of witnesses that saw that she never left the bridal table let alone throw a torch from outside in...seriously!!!

Sultan in the early days was annoying, but I got used to her, Serif on the other hand needed to take off to Istanbul, she never stopped screaming.

What's with all the fainting and hospital scenes?? Without Jusef and Havva the story was over. Beautiful location, repetative music at times. No wonder Netflix dumped it. Love Turkish tv series however this one went downhill - take note writers do not simply dump main characters and replace them using same storyline, it does not work.

Ali was no patch on Jusef and Havva was irreplacable. Great acting by this pair. I missed Toprak and her gorgeous husband (who you also replaced!!!!) Writers you missed a great storyline there and instead filled the rest with rubbish. Sorry, thumbs up to the beginning do not waste your time with the rest.

    1. What is Havva's illness in prison. She dies suddenly after giving birth in prison. I watched the Turkish channel without subtitles and could not figure it out. Was it the smoke from the fire, her lungs were compromised? Or from bullet wound - did they remove the bullet, or did it stay in her, poisoning her slowly? Her and Yusef's baby also dies, but I think the women in the prison convinced Selma to switch the babies, and pretend that it was her baby that died. Would really like to know the answer. Also, what is Hammyet's demand from Havva in prison. She's asking for forgivenesss while also scheming.

  30. Yusuf character is always perfect in this story and many girls want to be loved by him. Havva is a wise and assertive woman. In the meantime, she also took the wrong step because she was always distracted by the instigation of his own father and aunt who always urged her in an action. SHe was also persecuted by her own father and aunt because they were too concerned with property, power and money. She is willing to do anything to pursue her love even if there are times when she has to sacrifice for the sister she loves. She is always surrounded by hatred that stems from misunderstandings. But this story is a bit hanging. Havva's character is also not in her favor and it seems that she is the person who is the cause and guilt in the whole of this story and is not fair (for Havva's character). The ending are so...just like that, simple and so so disappointed...

  31. Finally - after a truncated series E110, did not mean anything. The schemers Havva and Sultan are not accountable - no social learning - it finally turned out to be a waste of time. Many loose ends, unexplained conduct of Sultan and incomplete characters who finally had no bearing to the story line. Moral of the story - Crookery, emotional blackmail, connivance and evil pays. Sad ending to honest characters domestic help thrown out, faked assault

    2. Thank you for your synopsis of what happens after episode 110 since there were none after that on Netflix and yes I agree with you about Netflix dumping the series from what you said happened. Honestly some of these Turkish series end so stupidly and badly and really let the viewer down -- Intersection was the same way -- killed off a major character who was also the most sympathetic one on the series, and replaced her by a bimbo. The boyfriend gets together with the bimbo and the main character is forgotten. Horrible. By the way I have to mention that Bade's wedding dress sucked bigtime, no comparison to Havva's.

    3. I wish the writer or the producer would revive the show someday and finish it right. Havva and Yusuf love was beautiful and warm , the deserve a happy ending . For me this show has ended at episode 57.

    1. I agree. I forced myself to watch up to episode 94 without English subtitles, after the abrupt ending on Netflix. I picked up the Turkish episodes and was able to follow it for the most part. Their natural chemistry on-screen is matched only by Tuba and Engin (Kara, Para Ask and Sefirin Kizi). The writers and directors missed some great storylines. Havva is made to look like a money hungry villan, when she is actually fighting to find love. She and Yusef are doing the same thing, actually, resisting the choice their parents made for them and instead following their hearts - which leads them to each other. I am mystified by Havva's death in prison. What killed her? I suspect it was the bullet wound that was not properly cared for, but I am speculating. I am so glad that the writers allowed her and Yusef to spend time together as lovers (the days at the remote house while his mother sent men to track her down and remove her - physically), and produce a child together. Sad that they both died. Their love should have been sustainable. Super glad that Bade did the right thing in the end and turned herself ib for Havva's shooting, burning down the reception hall, and causing Yusef's death.

  44. I watched this in Netflix. Started out great, but there was way too much evil, everyone died and horrible ending. I thought the story was supposed to be the rivalry between good and bad sisters, but the plot changed when Toprak left with Cinar. With no Toprak, I wanted Havva with Yusuf, so very disappointed with this show.

For anyone interested in Toprak and Cinar, I was fortunate to find their story continued as of episodes 21/22 in Lale Devri. I haven't found the show with subtitles, but used google translate to somewhat understand. I've watched this series many times and love it. Loved how Cinar and Toprak's love develops. You will also see Toprak change from this timid girl to a stronger woman. Some of the characters from Yer Gok Ask are also part of Lale Devri storyline, like Sitka, and Toprak's family. But most importantly, YES, their well deserved happy ending.
