Çalıkuşu (Lovebird) is a Turkish television series adapted for the third time by the same name of Resat Nuri Güntekin. Should not be confused with the series previously published on television with the name of Çalıkuşu

Kanal D displays in the new era will start in the series between ÇALIKUŞU. Reşat Nuri Güntekin's immortal novel called Fahriye. Fahriye Evcen and Burak Özçivit are reviving together with the role of Çalikuşu (Lovebird).

Synopsis of Çalikuşu (Lovebird)

At a young age, her mother is lost and Feride (Fahriye Evcen) is looking at the aunt. The officer can see very little of her father. An elderly father arrives at the Dame de Sion School as a boarder. Feride, who is very insolent and does not descend from the trees, wears the Çalıkuşu name for this reason. The past has grown, Feride has grown.

Kamran (Burak Özçivit) , the handsome son of aunt who visited her at school, fell in love with each other. Feride, who thinks that she is another woman while she is preparing for marriage, escapes from the house and asks the ministry for a mission away from Istanbul as a teacher. Than she begin teaching in a village in Anatolia where the war has impoverished.
